1.Whenever I open my Firefox(I tried in others also) I visit google and write something on the search bar but when I click on the searched link it doesn’t bring the the link that I clicked it brings other websites….
2.Whenever I visit any website, the moment I click on the page a small window appears(the name of the small window is Advertisement……)

Hey ppl,
Avg has just picked up coolwebsearch, it hasn’t finished scanning yet but after reading up on the adware it seems like avg wont be able to remove it as its one of the worst to get rid of.
so i downloaded cwshredder and ran a scan, it came out clean?
I haven’t had any pop-ups, unknown bookmarks and my homepage hasn’t been changed at all.
Any help on what i should do would be appreciated thanks.

go to a site like Geekstogo or the bleeping computer or symantic most of these have a forum that tell you exactly how to get rid of these things or try trend micro. they havee a program called housecall its free but it takes a while it gets rid of most things

How to Remove Adware

If you have Mozilla Firefox, select “Tools”, “Options”, and then “Settings”. Check to make sure that each box has a check mark on it. After each box has been checked, click the “OK” button. Click “Clear Now” in order to get rid of all of the temporary cookies and files.

There all rubbish. Get the Norton antivirus or the Mcafree at Smiths or Argos.
