Question by help! help!: Does playing Runescape install spyware/adware on your computer?
The reason I am asking this is because my friend, a true Runescaper, said himself that every time he plays Runescape a type of spyware is installed on his computer. He said that he just scans and deletes it everyday. I also played runescape and some spyware from isearch.net was on my computer. I got rid of it and reasearched it on Symantec’s site. I found that it was a internet explorer hijacker. Have you ever found the spyware or any other type of spyware on your computer after playing Runescape? Thank You!

adware is mostly spam virus. This is usually were your popup for everything thats anoying comes from. Spyware is a virus that spys or steals info from you.
