CoverHound, Inc. Launches CoverHound Insurance Solutions

San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2011
CoverHound, a venture-backed San Francisco-based startup, announced today that it has established CoverHound Insurance Solutions (CIS), a national full-service independent agency that will help power its flagship comparison product launching in January. CoverHounds new service will give consumers instant, accurate and actionable rates from leading car insurance carriers.
CoverHounds mission is to allow our shoppers to easily compare policies from all the top brands — CIS is a critical component of that unique model, said Basil Enan, Founder & CEO of CoverHound. By supplementing our direct-to-consumer and captive agency carrier relationships with our own independent agency, we give our shoppers access to an unprecedented selection of providers and a team of insurance experts available online and over the phone to help them make more confident insurance decisions.
To lead the new Southern California-based agency, CoverHound tapped insurance industry veteran Greg Isaacs, who has joined the team as President of CoverHound Insurance Solutions.
I am very excited about the opportunity to join CoverHound. I believe what were building will be a game-changer for the insurance buying experience. Consumers will now have transparency and control like theyve never had before, and CIS will provide them the professional advice to assist them in making the best possible decision.
Before joining CoverHound, Isaacs was the Chief Operating Officer at Liberty Company Insurance Brokers, where he oversaw company operations, expense management, production, and marketing strategy. He previously served as COO and Principal at National Insurance Solutions. Earlier in his career, he held various roles in production management for 21st Century Insurance, Countrywide Insurance Solutions and State Farm Insurance.
Were thrilled to have Greg on board. His deep experience building an agency and working for some of the leading carriers makes him a perfect fit to lead CIS, said Enan. We consider it a huge win that a seasoned industry veteran is joining CoverHound at this early stage in our development. It says a lot about the progress weve made to date.

Businesses Protected From Disgruntled Ex-employees

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) November 15, 2011
Leading online reputation repair company now offers a specific service to assist businesses in dealing with negative comments and articles written by ex-employees who have a gripe with the company, or the companys management. Online Reputation Management founder Ed Eshel commented, We have seen a significant increase in cases where companies have contacted us because an ex-employee, usually someone who has been fired or left under stressful circumstances, has posted disparaging comments online. The comments can be found on a range of different websites, from industry related sites, to social forums, to blogs and so on.
Online Reputation Management deals with such cases with a range of methods tailored to suit the specific needs of the case. Usually the most immediate concern is to remove the negative comments. Once this is achieved, the focus shifts onto maintaining the absence of such remarks, and developing various marketing and SEO techniques to ensure that the company is shown in a positive light when searched for in the main search engines. Online Reputation Management has extensive experience and expertise in SEO for all the main search engines, including Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
An established and reputable media company based in Texas recently utilized the services of Online Reputation Management to combat a particularly fierce online attack by a discontented ex-employee. The head of human resources commented, This employee felt he was wrongly dismissed. Shortly after leaving the company he started posting many negative comments and mini articles literally slandering our company and the management. A significant part of our personnel are recruited from a local pool of graduates, and being from this group himself, as well as being very knowledgeable with the Internet, he was able to make sure his comments were viewed by exactly whom he wanted our potential employees.
The company had noticed a decline in applications for various graduate positions, but it was actually brought to their attention by a candidate who raised concerns at the interview regarding some of the things he had read online. Further probing and some research online soon showed what was happening and that one source was responsible. The head of HR remarked, Like most companies, we know our success depends on our staff. We target high caliber individuals to drive our company forward, and such online slander can be detrimental to our success.
Online Reputation Management worked with the company and managed to remove almost all the false negative posts and articles. They then proceeded to develop strategies with the human resources and online marketing teams to ensure that a positive and honest profile of the company was portrayed and maintained online. We wanted to make sure that potential candidates who searched our company online would view a complete, honest and positive profile of the company. From there it is that individuals decision to continue with the application process, should they be interested in working for us. It would be a shame for both our company and the potential recruit to miss out, based on false information posted by one particularly bitter person.
Companies such as Online Reputation Management are finding that such scenarios are becoming increasing common. These days almost all company research by potential employees is performed online. Thus businesses need to ensure that their online profile remains positive and informative, and readers are not distracted with negative especially false negative information.

Q&A: How do i stop spam email goin out from my email address?
Question by melyafi: How do i stop spam email goin out from my email address?
How do i stop my spam email from my address email from going out to my other contacts
Best answer:
Answer by Robert J
Normally, it’s spammers faking the outgoing address to make it harder to trace them.
Anyone can put anything the ‘From:’ field of an email, and if it does not get delivered it wil bounce back to that ‘from’ address, not the real sender.
This is a slim possibility you have an email sending virus on your PC, but, if you did, it would almost certainly be using someone else’s address as the ‘From’ (often picked at random from their contact list).
The most likely culprit is someone you know that has you in their contact list, and other contacts in common with you.
If you want to make sure your machine is OK, download and run ‘Malwarebytes Anti-Malware’ and ‘Super Antispyware’. These are both free, and very effective at finding any nasties on your machine.
(Note Malwarebytes has both paid & free versions – the free version is fine, you just have to go to the program & start a scan every so often rather than it being automatic).

Question by : for security what should i take ?
I am going to get, ESET For Anti virus/Anti spam, all the usual crap and Zone alarm as my firewall.
Is that alright ?
Thanks
Or is ESET’s Firewall good enough, i read on wikipedia that it was crap
# Eset Smart Security’s personal firewall got very low results in leak tests and penetration tests.[citation needed]
# Eset Smart Security and NOD32 antivirus lack a Self-Protection module, making them vulnerable to viruses and illegal patches.

Good sites to watch tv shows online?
Question by : Good sites to watch tv shows online?
I’m trying to watch Sons of Anarchy but the only site I could find with the new episode was tv-radar, however, when the page loads with the video on it some spamming pop up comes up (advertising anti spam, how ironic) and it won’t go away even after blocking it so is there any other sites? blinkx doesn’t have it and megavideo has apparently never heard of it…
I said blinkx doesn’t have the epiode I’m trying to watch but apart from that it’s what I always use lol.
hulu.com is only giving me clips most of which aren’t any more over 30 seconds and says videos can’t be watched outside of the US…

Hanley Center Calls Spector 360 a “Tremendous Resource” to Ensure Patient Confidentiality, Employee Productivity, and HIPAA Compliance

Vero Beach, FL (Vocus) March 10, 2010
Healthcare facilities and addiction treatment centers are required by law to protect patient confidentiality and meet compliance regulations, while providing the highest levels of patient care possible. This, according to the Hanley Center — a world-renowned nonprofit alcoholism and addiction treatment center — was the driving factor for investing in Spector 360 (http://www.Spector360.com ) PC and Internet monitoring software from SpectorSoft Corporation. From day one, the Hanley Center credits Spector 360 for increasing employee productivity, ethics, and accountability for patient confidentiality and record keeping in accordance with HIPAA compliance regulations.
Spector 360 is the most advanced corporate monitoring, surveillance and investigation solution available in the market. Since installing Spector 360 across its entire Windows network, the Hanley Center is able to more quickly pinpoint usage patterns and trends, speed time to resolution when further investigation is warranted, and curb unwanted PC and Internet activity that can lead to larger problems if left unaddressed. Michael Counes, Director of Information Technology, calls Spector 360 “a tremendous resource to ensure Hanley Center is a center of excellence across the board. Because our employees are more productive, the time we recoup is applied to patient care.”
By providing complete visibility into everything employees do at the computer and on the Internet, Spector 360 can alert Counes if someone tries to access a proxy server, or attempts to print or save a patient’s information to a removable device. It also encourages the staff to keep social networking and email use within acceptable limits. “We believe our employees live the same values we teach our patients,” continued Counes. “Spector 360 gives us that one extra step to show any patient — from whatever walk of life — that their records are as secure as those of a famous celebrity.”
Spector 360 — The Gold Standard for PC and Internet Monitoring in the Workplace
Spector 360 | 2010 records and archives user activity and stores it for future analysis when needed. It records all web sites visited, emails sent and received, chats and instant messages, keystrokes typed, files transferred, documents printed and applications run. Spector 360 feeds that activity into a database and provides more than 50 built-in reports and unlimited customization for a “bird’s eye view” of employee patterns and behavior, with no complicated setup or management required. Counes said he found Spector 360’s monitoring capabilities to be a powerful addition to anti-spam, anti-virus, and a complement to what used to be “just filtering and blocking.”
“Installation was remarkably easy — I was monitoring in half an hour,” he continued. “Spector 360 has so many built-in reporting tools; I haven’t needed to put together one custom report since I’ve had it. I just trained a staff member and literally logged in, showed them the dashboard, and walked away. The person came back after two hours and said it was the most amazing thing they’d ever seen.”
Spector 360’s enhanced activity recorders and screen snapshot capabilities continuously work behind the scenes and can be called into action at any time to “rewind and play” what someone did at their desktop, every step of the way. It lessens the burden on IT by eliminating the need to sift through emails or review the browser history to get to the root of an issue. Keyword alerts and more than 30 pre-defined Web filters can be set to block access to specific sites or trigger a red flag when a user’s activity may be in direct violation of an internal Internet Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) or compliance regulation like HIPAA, CIPA or Sarbanes-Oxley.
“Spector 360 helps me as far as best practices in IT as well as corporate resources,” continued Counes. “I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the program. I am continually impressed with the depth and breadth of what it can monitor — all of it available to review with one click of a button. Spector 360 gives you the big picture, then you can drill down to the details, and the drill-down is seamless … just click and play, click and play!”

Spector 360 is available for purchase at http://www.Spector360.com starting at $ 1,995 for 15 licenses or $ 2,995 for 25 licenses, and ships with one full year of Premium Maintenance at no additional charge.
